Obituary for Peggy Jo Wikoff of Robbins

Peggy Jo Wikoff, 93, of Robbins, passed peacefully at the Fox Hollow Nursing Facility on Friday, Oct. 27th.

A life-long Moore County resident, Peggy Jo was born and raised in Clay Road Farm to the late Clarence Alton and Ruby Davis Matthews.  She had been a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Peggy Jo is preceded in death by her husbands Charles Sheffield and Bill Wikoff; daughter Jo Ann; brothers Jack, Roger and Frank Matthews; sisters Ellie and Gladys and grandson Kenneth Sheffield.

Peggy Jo is survived by her daughters Cyndy Nall, Diane Williams and Cathy Johnson, and sons Clarence Sheffield and Butch Sheffield.  She was the grandmother of Charlie, Savannah, Kelly, Caitlyn, Leslie, Wayne, Matthew, Mark, Jody, Rita and Charles.  She is also survived by her 16 great – grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, Oct. 30th at 11:00 at the Yates – Thagard Cemetery on the corner of Hardee Rd and Niagara – Carthage Rd in Whispering Pines.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Rd. Pinehurst, NC 28374.
