Robin Marie Jackson, 68, of Cameron, NC, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 surrounded by her family and dearest friend.
Born on August 6, 1955 to the late James(Bub) and Virginia(Ginni) VanFossen. She graduated from Parkersburg South High School and worked for 13 years as a unit secretary at St. Joseph Hospital before relocating to NC where she worked exceedingly hard at many jobs to provide for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald B. Jackson(master), brother in law: Ray Robinson, niece: Tracy Robinson, heart daughter: Christy Hardy, dear friend: Suzie Miller, granddaughter: Destiny Angelica and her beloved fur baby Dakota. Survived by her brothers, James VanFossen Jr.(Lynn), Kevin VanFossen(Patty), sister Kathy Laughery(John), sister of her heart Shannon Januesheske(Renae), boy toy Steven Summers, and her fur babies Lily and Sprinkles. Left behind to cherish her legacy in their hearts are her children and grandchildren. Sons, Micheal Lynch Jr.(Kim), Richard Lynch(Amanda), daughters Michelle Williams(Cecil), Melissa Heard and Amanda McBride(Pat), grandchildren: Alyssa, Micha(Corey), Tiffani(Ira), Nikolas(Delia), Nakia(Erik), Justin(Erica), Summer(Steve), Amanda(Trayce) Mackenzie(Cody), Virginia, Harold “DJ”, Richard Jr. “RJ”, Lila, Leroy and Lily(Hollis), 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren expected this year.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to her hospice nurse, Lisa, for all her love and support throughout her final weeks and days with us.
