Timothy Lee Kiser, 60, of Aberdeen passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Tim was born July 11, 1961 in Pinehurst, NC to the late Shelly Roosevelt Kiser and Barbara Tucker Kiser.
Tim was employed by the Town of Southern Pines as a grounds keeper for 15 plus years. He was also a volunteer firefighter for 30 years, serving at both Pinebluff Fire Department and Pine Hill Fire Department. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved life in general and was an excellent roller skater. He was a graduate of Pinecrest High School.
Tim is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa Strider Kiser; two sons Joshua Chad Kiser (Heather Orens) and Michael Roy Kiser, both of Aberdeen; his grandchildren Aubrey Nicole Kiser, Jordyn Denise Kiser, Joshua Lane Kiser, Easton James Kiser, and Jackson Bowen White; his mother Barbara Kiser; two brothers Michael Kiser of Robbins, NC, and Ray Kiser (Erin) of Florida; one sister Lynne Kiser Womack of Cameron, NC; his mother-in-law Linda Strider of Aberdeen; sister-in-law Lynn Strider Strong (Daniel) of Aberdeen; brother-in-law Bobby Strider, and a host of nieces, nephews and other close family and friends.
In addition to his father, Tim is also preceded in death by his father-in-law “Red” Fred Strider.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at Boles Funeral Home, 425 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines, NC 28387. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Pinebluff Cemetery, 163 Sykes Lane, Pinebluff, NC 28373.
