One injured in Taylortown crash

A crash in Taylortown sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday night.

First responders arrived at the scene of two vehicles with heavy damage at the intersection of Main Street and Juniper Lake Road. 

According to Taylortown Police, a Ford Crown Victoria allegedly ran the stop sign at the intersection and collided with the driver’s side of a Ford F-150. The impact caused the F-150 to go off the road and into trees.

Moore County EMS took the driver of the F-150 to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Crown Victoria was not injured.
