Pinehurst Medical Clinic Pulmonology welcomes Beth McGroarty, NP, to PMC — East, located at 205 Page Rd. in Pinehurst. She will be joining its pulmonology team of four physicians, four physician assistants and three nurse practitioners and will aid in further serving the community’s need for pulmonary care.
McGroarty’s education has led her to earn an Associate, Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. With almost 20 years of clinical experience and over 10 years as a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner, McGroarty brings a wealth of knowledge from her inpatient, outpatient, acute and critical care experiences.
Taking a patient-centered approach to her care philosophy, McGroarty finds reward in partaking in the empowerment of patients to become active participants in their health care. She looks forward to joining the Pinehurst Medical Clinic Pulmonology team to continue combining her passion for critical care and pulmonary medicine.
Pinehurst Medical Clinic Pulmonology serves patients at locations in Pinehurst, Sanford and Fayetteville. The team is dedicated to improving lung function and working to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases that affect the respiratory system. These include asthma, acute bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), respiratory failure, lung cancer and more.
As a new Pinehurst resident, McGroarty is looking forward to being able to now call it home. Her husband, two children and standard poodle came to Pinehurst to join members of their family and to take advantage of the area’s outdoor activities, meeting new friends and making plenty of new memories together. Outside of providing patient care, McGroarty enjoys fitness and spending time with family.
