Pinehurst Police Department is asking assistance from the community for information on an assault.
Pinehurst Police found an injured male on US 15-501 near Spring Lake Road who had allegedly been assaulted on June, 15th. The victim stated that a black Chevrolet car drove up behind his vehicle and parked before he was assaulted and robbed by a black male and white female. The victim reported to the police that the assailants left in their vehicle and drove towards Carthage. Â
