UPDATE: Tyson was found safe.
The Pinehurst Police Department is searching for a missing woman.
Betty Tyson was last seen in the area of Gun Club Drive and Longleaf Drive, announced the Village of Pinehurst Thursday on its Facebook page.
“She is on foot and was wearing a red coat with blue jeans,” said the village.
