Pinewild County Club held its first annual 5K on Saturday, Nov. 18, benefiting First Tee – Sandhills.
Over 90 runners supported the event, and Pinewild was honored to present a $2,000 check to First Tee – Sandhills. First Tee is a nonprofit organization focusing on character education for kids using golf as a vehicle.
First Tee is thankful to Pinewild Country Club for supporting the organization. Some of First Tee’s outreach involves visiting school PE classes, weekly programs, and summer camps for kids ages 5 through high school.
First Tee welcomes support through individual donors and volunteers.
