Two Hoke County men were recently arrested after a separate investigation on Nov. 6 led the Moore County Sheriff’s Department to an investigation of storage units being broken into in Aberdeen.
Anthony Cummings, 38, of Raeford, and Mario Dockery, 38, of Stubby Oaks Road, outside of Aberdeen, were arrested on a combined 40 charges, according to a statement by Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
Charges include 10 counts of felony breaking or entering, three counts of misdemeanor larceny, one count of felony larceny, four counts of felony possession of stolen goods, one count of injury to real property, and one count of conspiracy to commit breaking or entering.
Dockery’s bond was set at $75,000, and Cummings’ bond was set at $50,000.Â
Suspects are due in court in December and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
