Law enforcement arrested two individuals Monday and charged them with larceny.

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of larceny from Maple Lane in Jackson Springs.  Sheriff Neil Godfrey said it was reported “someone had stolen copper pipe and air conditioner units from a building on the property.”

After an investigation, deputies arrested James Patrick Britt, 27, of West End, and April Lynn Glover, 35. Britt was charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.  Glover was charged with misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.

Godfrey did not state the name of the business the crime took place.

Britt was placed under a $3,000 bond and given an August 27 court date while Glover was placed under a $1,000 bond and given an August 14th court date.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
