The Southern Pines Police Department is investigating car break-ins and stolen vehicles that occurred in the Midsouth and Arboretum neighborhoods on Saturday evening.
The police department is asking the public to review security camera footage and contact the department if you can share any video or information that can help identify suspects.
The police are advising all residents to lock their vehicles and not leave keys inside, regardless of location.
“Suspects are simply pulling on door handles to get into unlocked vehicles,” said the Southern Pines Police Department. “Report any suspicious vehicles and persons.”
