A joint investigation resulted in a local man being arrested and illegal drugs being taken off the streets in Moore County.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced that his department’s detectives, along with the state Alcohol Law Enforcement, executed a search warrant at a home on Primrose Path in the Addor community of Pinebluff on Friday.

Sixty-year-old Quintin McMillan is facing nine charges after law enforcement seized cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, liquor, alcohol and drug and marijuana paraphernalia. 

Fields said McMillan, of Pinebluff, is facing charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substances, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, selling alcoholic beverages without a permit, and possession of alcoholic beverages for sale without a permit.

He was jailed under a no bond/48-hour hold and is due in court on Nov. 12.
