The Moore County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in the Lakeview community outside of Vass on Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred on Lone Pine Road around 5 p.m.
Chief Deputy Andy Conway with the Moore County Sheriff’s Department told Sandhills Sentinel that several shots were fired, and a house and vehicle were struck.
No one was injured.

This is the fourth Moore County shooting Sandhills Sentinel has covered in less than two weeks.
A drive-by shooting occurred on S. Gaines Street in Southern Pines on Dec. 17. A child custody dispute ended in a shootout in Aberdeen on Christmas Eve. A man was shot in his car on Gaines Street in Southern Pines on Dec. 27.Â
