A T-bone accident outside of Robbins sent two drivers to the hospital Thursday. The wreck was the fourth of five accidents across the county within 90 minutes. This accident occurred on Highway 24/27 and Pine Grove Church Road just before 12:30 p.m.Â
According to officials, a man driving a Ford pickup truck was heading east on Highway 24/27. The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling across the intersection from Big Oak Church Road to Pine Grove Church Road. The driver of the Ford hit the Chevrolet in the driver’s side door, said authorities.Â
Moore County Sheriff’s Office and Robbins Police Department responded to assist with the scene, but the accident did not impact traffic. Westmoore and Robbins Fire Departments, along with the State Highway Patrol who is investigating the incident, also responded to the accident.
Several witnesses also stopped to assist until first responders could arrive on the scene.Â
