After a traffic stop, a man from Middlesex, N.C. is facing five drug charges, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a news advisory.
Rodney Narron, 41, was pulled over on Wednesday.
“On June 29, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop in the 4300 block of U.S. Highway 1 in Lakeview,” said Fields. “During the traffic stop, Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. As a result of the search, Deputies located methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.”
Narron was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $2,500 secured bond and was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of open container.
He is due in court on July 14 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
