Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of two individuals following a traffic stop in the Vass area.
On Oct. 15, Moore County Sheriff’s Office detectives initiated a traffic stop in the 4800 block of U.S. Highway 1 in Vass. During the stop, detectives searched the vehicle, which led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Kenneth Stroud, 59, of Vass, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving while his license was revoked. He was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond.
Stroud was arrested last year in connection with an alleged domestic dispute.
Dakota Lundry, 21, also of Vass, was arrested and charged with possession of suspected methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and destruction of criminal evidence. He was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond.
Both individuals are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Nov. 14.
