Two families were taken to the hospital after a collision in Eagle Springs on Saturday.

In the early afternoon, the Eagle Springs Fire Department, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, Moore County EMS, and N.C. State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bensalem Church Road and Big Oak Church Road.

Authorities told Sandhills Sentinel at the crash site that a Honda Odyssey was traveling westbound on Bensalem Church Road when a Ford Flex heading southbound on Big Oak Church Road failed to yield at the stop sign.
