The N.C. Department of Transportation will install delineation posts and curbing around two segments of the Pinehurst traffic circle later this week.
Crews will conduct the work from 7 p.m. Jan. 11 through 7 a.m. Jan. 12 to better maintain lane control and prohibit unsafe crossover movements within the circle.
The traffic circle will remain open during the project.
Motorists are reminded to remain attentive through the work zone as crews will be working adjacent to the inner circular lane.
