woman arrested marijuana growing on property

A woman from Robbins was arrested on several drug charges Monday following reports to the sheriff’s office of marijuana plants growing on her property.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said Erica Nicole Maness, 38, gave deputies consent to search her property on Colin Road.

Deputies found marijuana, methamphetamine, Alprazolam pills, Buprenorphine, and Naloxone (Suboxone), items of drug paraphernalia, and a stolen chainsaw. 

Maness was charged with manufacture marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possession of stolen goods/property.

The suspect’s unsecured bond was set at $15,000. She is due in court on October 28 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
