Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the drug arrests of ten individuals following a search in the Westmoore area of Moore County.
On December 9, deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Sheffield Road. During the search, deputies located heroin, methamphetamine, suboxone, items of drug paraphernalia, and $420 in cash. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.
The following individuals were arrested as a result:
Donald Ray Sheffield 55, Seagrove, N. C.
Charges- Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, 2 counts of Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $40,000.00 Secured
Rodney Scott Vandevander 46, Star, N. C.
Charges- Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $7,500.00 Secured
Cody Tyler Mabe 25, Seagrove, N. C.
Charges- Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond: $20,000.00 Secured
Nicholas William Cox 23, Rockingham, N. C.
Charges- Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Charges- Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Charges- Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Charges- Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Roger Dale Spivey 53, Seagrove, N. C.
Charges- Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Roger Dale Spivey also had outstanding warrants for arrest.

Darrell Evans Little 49, Ellerbe, N. C.
Charges- Trafficking in Opium or Heroin by Possession, Trafficking in Opium or Heroin by Transport, Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Possession, Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Transport, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin, Possession of Heroin, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Suspects are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on December 16.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
