Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced on Friday that a fox is on the loose after a biting incident in Pinebluff.
The incident occurred in the 100 block of East Philadelphia Avenue.
Fields alerted residents with the following safety guidelines:
- Please use caution when outdoors
- Do not approach or attempt to capture the fox if seen
- When possible, keep pets and small children indoors
- Secure garbage and other food sources to avoid attracting wildlife
Fields did not state if the fox bit a person or another animal.
