A Cameron pair faces drug and other charges after being pulled over by Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
A news release from Sheriff Ronnie Fields said William Cook and Stephanie Floyd were stopped in the 100 block of Bibey Road in Carthage on Sept. 12.
“Detectives initiated the stop due to the vehicle having an expired registration plate and failing to maintain lane control,” said Fields.
A search of the vehicle found suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Cook, 31, is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, expired registration plate and brake/stop light equipment violation.
Floyd, 32, is facing charges of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects received a $50,000 secured bond. They are expected in court at the end of the month and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
