A single-vehicle accident on Lobelia Road Sunday afternoon damaged a power pole and sent a woman to the hospital.

Emergency units were dispatched to the accident at the curve at Morrison Bridge Road shortly after 3 p.m. for a vehicle that crashed into a wood line.

The female driver in her early twenties was the only occupant and was transported to Moore Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol was on scene investigating the crash.

Responding to the scene were Crains Creek Fire Department, Moore County EMS, N.C. Highway Patrol and Oakley’s Towing.
