Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said a Raeford man is under a $750,000 secured bond after being arrested for allegedly stabbing a man at a gas station on Friday morning.
The incident occurred in Aberdeen at the Pure gas station.
“On June 10, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Moore County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an assault at a gas station located at 10827 N.C. Highway 211 in Aberdeen,” said Fields in a news advisory. “Upon arriving, deputies learned that a victim and suspect had left the scene following an altercation that resulted in one person being stabbed.”
Fields said the 41-year-old victim was located nearby in Hoke County and was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center to have surgery and is in stable condition.
Moises Ramirez-Marinero, 41, was arrested on the same day on a charge of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
The suspect is due in court on June 13 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
