Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Department went to a home in Vass for a report of a domestic disturbance and arrested five people on drug charges Thursday.
The home is located in the 800 block of Lobelia Road. All five facing charges are from Vass.
“During the investigation, Detectives executed a search warrant after items of drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a news advisory. “During the search, Deputies located methamphetamine, cocaine, buprenorphine, naloxone, and items of drug paraphernalia. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of the investigation.”
Felton Blue, 58, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed under a $5,500 secured bond.
Shelley Charles, 60, and David Willard, 65, were each charged with felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Their secured bonds were set a $5,500. Willard was also arrested weeks ago on several charges.
Kayla Wall, 25, and Paul Wicker, 34, face a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and were given $2,500 unsecured bonds.
Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
