A woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday night in Lobelia. The crash happened at the intersection of Lobelia Road and Morrison Bridge Road around 7:30 p.m. Emergency units arrived on the scene to find a Ford Fusion off the roadway with heavy front-end damage.
According to authorities on the scene, the driver was traveling east on Lobelia Road when she ran off the shoulder of the road in a curve and struck a large pine tree.
The driver was the only occupant and was transported to Moore Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Lobelia Road was down to one lane for a brief period while crews worked the scene, and the vehicle was removed. Highway Patrol was on the scene investigating the crash.
