A 69-year-old Eagle Springs man was jailed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond and is facing several drug charges after being arrested following a Moore County Sheriff’s Department drug investigation.
Robert Diggs was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II-controlled substance, maintain a vehicle, dwelling, or place to keep a controlled substance, simple possession of schedule II-controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced his department “executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Sawgrass Road in Eagles Springs” on Friday.
Detectives found suspected oxycodone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, said Fields.
Diggs is expected in court on Feb. 28 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
