Failure to yield sends two to hospital

A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of N.C. Hwy 705 and Upper Road in Seagrove on Tuesday at around 1:45 p.m., just before the Moore and Randolph County line.

Authorities said an SUV was traveling southeast on Highway 705 when a Lowe’s flatbed truck failed to yield at the Upper Road stop sign. The SUV struck the flatbed on the driver’s side of the bed.
