A female driver was uninjured after her car flipped in the Eastwood community of West End. The single-vehicle crash happened on Sunday, just after 5:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 15-501, in front of the Moore County LEO Association.
A Kia passenger vehicle was traveling south toward Pinehurst when the driver lost control at the bottom of a hill. The vehicle went off the opposite side of the road, down an embankment and rolled over before coming to a stop upright.

According to officials on scene, the driver was the only occupant and was not transported to the hospital.
There was heavy rain in the area, which may have contributed to the crash.
Traffic on U.S. Highway 15-501 was slowed down to a crawl while crews worked the scene.
N.C. Highway Patrol was on scene investigating the crash.
Responding were the Eastwood Fire Department, the Pinehurst Fire Department, Moore County EMS and N.C. Highway Patrol.
