Finish line approaching for future fun in Pinehurst

The Village of Pinehurst is approaching the finish line for the Village’s Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This plan will help guide the department’s decision-making for advancing parks and recreation programs and services.

For more than 125 years, the Village of Pinehurst has provided residents with an exceptional lifestyle rooted in a tradition of leisure and recreation – and in that spirit – the Village, with your help, is planning for the future of parks and recreation for the next 10 years.

Although the finish line is in sight, the Village needs that final push from the community to make it complete. Join Village staff and consultants with McAdams Company for a Public Input Open House Thursday, July 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Cannon Park Community Center (210 Rattlesnake Tr.).

During this Open House, community stakeholders will have the opportunity to view the feedback received from the public input process and rank recommended amenities and programs in the proposed plan to help narrow down the Village’s top priorities.
