A large fire destroyed Fat Monkey Express in West End on Tuesday afternoon. The trucking, grading and country store is located at 2292 Carthage Road.Â
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said no one was injured when the flames erupted just before 1 p.m. Officials said the fire appears to have started in the back of the building.

Black smoke was visible miles away. Crews closed the Carthage Road and Beulah Hill Church Road intersection.
Multiple fire departments responded, including Carthage, Robbins, Biscoe, Eagle Springs, Pinehurst, Eastwood, West End and Seven Lakes.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
