Five people, including two children, were transported after a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 1 on the outskirts of Vass Saturday morning.
According to authorities on scene, the crash occurred shortly before noon in front of Bob’s Pizza when a Ford Escape and a Mercedes SUV collided.
EMS crews evaluated those involved and transported five people to the hospital as a precaution. No serious injuries were reported.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident. No further details have been confirmed at this time.
