Head of School Achievement Awards presented at O’Neal

The O’Neal School recognized upper school students for their high academic scores at an assembly before their peers recently. The Head of School Achievement Award is presented to the O’Neal student in each class who compiled the highest academic average for the past school year.

Head of School John Elmore recognized the following students with this award.

Commended for eighth-grade achievement was freshman Kangqi “Newnew” Hong, niece of Hong and Stuart Schulte of Pinehurst.

Ninth-grade achievement was awarded to sophomore Nik Epstein, son of Mr. Mark Epstein and Mrs. Julia Latham of Aberdeen.

Tenth-grade achievement was awarded to junior Harrison Franklin, son of Mr. James Franklin and Ms. Sandra Franklin of Pinehurst. Harrison is attending the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics this year.

Eleventh-grade achievement was awarded to senior Charlie Kuzma, son of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Kuzma of Foxfire.
