A local man was arrested on drug charges last Tuesday.

Moore County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Moore County Probabtion Parole with a residential search, according to a news release from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

After searching the home on Wilder Avenue in Aberdeen, deputies seized 478 grams of Marijuana, 13 dosage units of Clonazepam, one dosage unit of Buprenorphine (Suboxone) and items of marijuana drug paraphernalia.

The street value of the seized drugs is over $4,000.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyler Davis Strother, 24, from a Wilder Avenue address in Aberdeen, charged him with possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled-substance, felony possession of a schedule VI controlled-substance, maintaining a dwelling for the storage of a controlled-substance, simple possession of a schedule III controlled-substance, simple possession of schedule IV controlled-substance and the possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.

Strother was placed in the Moore County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and released on a $10,000 unsecured bond with a June 12th court date, according to arrest records.  

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
