A 67-year-old man was arrested after a search warrant at a Seagrove-area residence led to the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm, according to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Ronnie Fields said detectives executed a search warrant Aug. 19 at a residence in the 2500 block of West Chrisco Road in the Seagrove area of Moore County.
During the search, authorities seized methamphetamine, items of drug paraphernalia, and a firearm, according to the sheriff’s office.
Charles Comer, 67, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Comer was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Sept. 2.
All charges are allegations, and Comer is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
