The Aberdeen Police Department announced the arrest of Terwin Brown, 49, of Foxfire Village, after the department received numerous complaints of narcotic sales occurring in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen investigators, along with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office detectives, investigated the allegations. Investigators then confirmed the sale of narcotics and identified Brown as the suspect.
After a continued investigation and the execution of a search warrant, Aberdeen investigators obtained warrants on Brown for felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver Scheduled III controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of Schedule III controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 29, Brown was arrested on the above charges, as well as outstanding warrants from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office. Brown was taken before a Moore County magistrate, where he received no bond.
Terwin Brown is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
