A body was found on a Cameron road over the weekend. The body was discovered on Atkins Road and Boys Camp Road.
A passerby saw the body and called 911. First responders arrived, and questions gained traction on Facebook soon after.
Chief Deputy Andy Conway of the Moore County Sheriff’s Office told Sandhills Sentinel that the department doesn’t suspect foul play.
Authorities believe it was an overdose but cannot confirm until an autopsy and toxicology report are completed.
