A 52-year-old Southern Pines resident was arrested Friday by the Southern Pines Police.
Franzy Deshanon Wilson was arrested following an investigation, according to the Southern Pines Police Department.
Following the investigation involving drug related activity and illegal sale of alcoholic beverages on Friday, the Southern Pines Police Department’s Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant at Wilson’s residence located in the 1100 block of West New Hampshire Avenue.
As a result of this search, crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, an undisclosed amount of cash and a large quantity of alcohol was seized as evidence.
Wilson was charged with the following offenses possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, manufacture/sell/deliver a controlled substance 1000’ of a park, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, manufacture/sell/deliver a controlled substance 1000’ of a school and possess/sell alcoholic beverages without a permit.
An agent from the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Agency assisted the Southern Pines Police Department in this investigation.
Wilson appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and was jailed under a $127,000 bond and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
