Detectives with Moore County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man Thursday on multiple sex charges and the suspect is jailed under a $1 million secured bond.
In a Friday news release, Sheriff Ronnie Fields said Arnold Travis Clark, 54, of Sanford, was arrested following an investigation into a reported sexual assault that occurred in Cameron.
“The victim knew the alleged suspect and as a result of the investigation that followed, a warrant for arrest was obtained in the case,” said the news release.

Clark was charged with one count of first degree rape, one count of statutory rape, one count of sex offense by a person in a parental role, one count of felony indecent liberties with a child, one count of incest and one count of felony incest with a child 13/ 14/15 and defendant is greater than 6 Years older than the child.
Clark has a February 27 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
