Man shot in the leg during domestic dispute

A man was shot in the leg during a domestic dispute Sunday night.

Authorities were called to the 100 block of Marvin Circle outside of Pinebluff shortly after 10 p.m. for a domestic dispute.

When sheriff deputies arrived on the scene, they found a female who allegedly shot the man in his leg, according to Moore County Sheriff’s Department.

They secured the scene and placed the female in temporary custody, so Pinebluff Fire and Rescue and Moore County EMS could come in to evaluate the man.

The man was taken to Moore Regional Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Moore County Sheriff’s Department, the incident is still being investigated, and it is unclear if any charges will be filed at this time.

Marvin Circle is part of a mobile home park off Batchelor Farm Road outside of Pinebluff.
