Christina Rose Parton, 36, of Seven Lakes passed on Monday, January 29, 2024.
A memorial service will be held 5 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Chapel in Pines in Seven Lakes with the Rev. Paul James officiating. A visitation time with friends and family will follow.
Christina was born June 20, 1987 in Raleigh, NC to Timothy Lewis Parton and Nancy Rose (Aniol) Parton. Christina had a beautiful, magnetic energy that drew people to her. To know her was to instantly see that, and love her. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and those closest to her were always warmed by her bright spirit. She was smart, very witty, funny, a wonderfully loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Christina had a huge passion and love for animals, and was also survived by her dog Zeke and cat Lamar, both of whom she’d had for many years.
Christina worked for the past few years as a manager of a private owned resort property in Pinehurst, NC. She loved meeting people from around the world who came to stay at the resort and play golf, and was a dedicated, very hard worker.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Parton of Seven Lakes; three brothers, Luke Parton and wife Katie of Mount Pleasant, SC; Stephen Parton of Japan; Matt Koski and wife Angela of Rose City, MI; a sister, Kami McAllister and husband Ty of Lapeer, MI; several nieces and nephews, Grace Parton, Kalliopi Koski, Isabella Koski, Sasha Koski, Jordan Hottum, Jake Hottum, Rylie McAllister, and Ian McAllister.
She was preceded in death by her father Timothy Parton.
In lieu of flowers, future memorial donations can be made in memory of Christina Parton to Zeke’s Fund, which is a new non-profit that is in the process of being formed. The fund will aim to provide resources to animals needing emergency medical care in situations where they may otherwise be euthanized.
