Mrs. Edith Leach Moore, 79, of Southern Pines, NC, died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at her home.
Service: Thursday, April 5, 2018, 12:00 Noon, Trinity AME Zion Church, 972 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines, where she was a member.
Visitation: Thursday, April 5, 2018, 11 AM – 12 Noon, at the church.
Burial: Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines.
Mrs. Moore was a retired educator and she was one of the founding members of the Omicron Omega Omega Moore County Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Survivors: Husband, James H. Moore; son, Timothy Moore (Misha); sisters, Martha Horton, Elaine Garner, and Rosalie Davis; two grandchildren, Keela and Grant; aunt, Eloise West; and other relatives.
