Obituary for Lynn Michele Hollyfield of Aberdeen

Lynn Michele Hollyfield, 32, of Aberdeen, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2023. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend to everyone she met.

A funeral service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Camp Easter Rd. in Southern Pines on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. A period of visitation will be held at the church prior to the service starting at 2:30 p.m.

Born on June 25, 1991, she was the daughter of Debbie Kennedy Hollyfield and the late Wayne Hollyfield. Lynn was a Moore County native and was raised in Aberdeen. She was a graduate of Pinecrest High School, class of 2010. She worked in construction for many years. She enjoyed singing, carpentry, working with her hands, the beach, fishing, and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Hollyfield; biological mother, Michele Medlin Wright; and her Granny, Lillie Kennedy. 

She is survived by her mother, Debbie Hollyfield; daughters, Shelby and Melanie; brother, Dennis Hollyfield (Patricia) of Rockingham; sisters Misty Morgan (Jason) of Aberdeen, Melissa Flinchum (Stephen) of Carthage, and Kellie Clark (Chad) of Aberdeen. She was also a beloved aunt to Trevor, Dylan, Landon, Cameron and Chase, and is survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
