Martha Salada Snyder, age 93, of Vass, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Martha was born in Troutville, Pennsylvania on October 18, 1930 to the late Lewis Edgar Salada and Leah Amich Salada. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Blaine Hoover, Bill Snyder, son, Donald Hoover, sisters, Edith Kinter, Iola Haag, brothers, Lewis, Arthur, James, Leslie Salada.
She is survived by her children, Susan Melton (Fred), David Hoover, Shirley Rogers (Kenneth), Joseph Snyder (Jean), Deborah Cadle (Gary), Jeffery Snyder, Cheryl Marcinowski (W.D.), Sandra Snyder, William Snyder, Sharon Dunton, Richard Hoover (Elaine); sister, Susan Loomis; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
