David Michael Sewell, age 59, of Carthage, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his home.
A Celebrating of Life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
David was born in Moore County on January 18, 1967, to Mildred Godhue and the late Johnny Sewell. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Timothy Hill.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Godhue and several nieces and nephews.
David was an avid dancer especially to anything Elvis. He also loved to party with his nieces and nephews. He was a loving son, uncle, and friend and will be greatly missed.
