A Pinebluff man is behind bars and charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Kiaya Carlton Jackson, 20, was arrested at his home Friday by Richmond County Sheriff’s Department with assistance from Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
On August 13, Richmond County Sheriff’s Department found Nijamel Jacque Goodwin behind the Hoffman Community Center suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound just after 10 p.m.

The suspect is being held at the Richmond County Jail without bond, has a September 5 court date, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
