A woman from Vass appeared before a Moore County magistrate and was released under a $25,000 unsecured bond pending a hearing in Moore County court after she was arrested on drug charges.
Twenty-nine-year-old Whittney Harrington was arrested Tuesday by Southern Pines Police, according to a press release from Deputy Chief Charles Campbell.
The Southern Pines Police Department’s Investigation Division pulled Harrington’s vehicle over and found cocaine and marijuana.
The suspect was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II (cocaine), felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a vehicle for sale of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
