Update: Adrianna Matthews has been safely located.
Hamlet Police Department announced on its Facebook page that missing Adrianna Sunshine Matthews left her residence on Pineland Drive on Sunday, Aug. 6, at approximately 4: 30 a.m. and was picked up by someone at or around 4:50 a.m.
She is described as a white female, 13 years old, with brown hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5’1 weighing approximately 160 pounds. She has a nose ring and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, white pants and black Crocs.
She is possibly in the Moore County area.
