The part-time driver license office in Raeford will begin offering full-time services to customers Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on April 8.
“This expansion is part of our ongoing, data-driven effort to improve service,” said N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Paul Tine in a release. “We will continue to closely monitor wait times, transaction trends, and customer feedback so we can keep enhancing how and where we deliver services to the public.”
This three-person office is the last of eight part-time driver license offices across the state to expand its services to five days a week. The office will also accept appointments, which can be scheduled at skiptheline.ncdot.gov.
The Raeford office will provide full-time services such as driver’s license and ID card issuances, duplicates and renewals, REAL IDs, and written, knowledge and road skills testing. No CDL or motorcycle skills testing will be provided. Customers can also find many services online at NCDMV.gov.
