A Robbins Man was arrested on multiple drug charges by Moore County Deputies today.

John Eric Martin, 54, from the 300 block of Scaleybark Road, was arrested on 15 charges, according to information released from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Moore County Deputies obtained a search warrant for Martin’s home and seized 24 grams of marijuana, 62 grams of methamphetamine, 22 dosage units of suboxone, 16 dosage units of morphine, six dosage units of oxycodone, one gram of heroin, one firearm, drug paraphernalia and over $3,000 in cash. The total street value of the drugs seized is approximately $9,335.

Martin was taken to Moore County Detention Center and charged at 1:50 am with one count of trafficking in methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver/schedule III controlled substance, one count of possession schedule I controlled substance, one count of possession schedule II controlled substance, one count of possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, one count of marijuana paraphernalia, one count of drug paraphernalia, one count of possession of counterfeit, one count of possession of firearm by a felon, one count of possession of stolen firearm, two counts of maintaining vehicle/dwelling place controlled substance, and three counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver/schedule II controlled substance.

Deputies also arrested Brittany Jordan Smith, 28, from the 300 block of Scaleybark Lane, after the search.  Smith is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine , possession with the Intent to sell and Deliver a schedule II controlled-substance, felony possession of a schedule II controlled-substance, possession with the Intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled-substance, possession with the Intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled-substance, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of schedule I controlled-substance, maintaining a vehicle/ dwelling for the storage of a controlled-substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and the possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, according to the news release.

Smith was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $175,000 unsecured bond. Martin was placed under a $275,000 secured bond.

Both Martin and Smith have an April 10th court date.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
